Signal Snipers=Way Above my Paygrade. I wish I got into this sooner rather than later. But this is cool.
Passed my first Technical practice quiz on HAMstudy.org. a few days ago. Gonna work on it some more.
I like the DMR instant message system videos I have seen on the tube. It’s like AOL instant messenger on a radio.
Very quick packet transmission too. Transmit time is like 1/2 second. So I hear…. Never tried it…
Never drove above the speed limit either. I’m a model citizen like that.
There’s a heck of a lot that can be done with DMR.
And if you don’t do it right, the “R” in DMR stands for RAMPAGE! not Radio.
I like DMR sends crystal clear comms across the country if you bounce through repeaters.
And I believe you can even use a Gateway to get on the internet. Which is crazy.
