I got a few of the inside details from some of my SWTC Cadre back in the day. This mission was about as close to “The A-Team” TV show as you could get. 82nd Represent! Airfield seizure all day all Night!
Funny story, they landed in the 8 foot tall elephant grass around the airfield and were completely lost in the sauce till the sun came up. Which is typical of jumps. They NEVER go as planned. There is a facebook group for these guys. They tell the best stories.
