Request for Information (RFI) – Weekly SITREP
I am going to make this a weekly post so that we can use this as a place to make any reports on unusual activity or localized hotspots of trouble. We did this a few times during COVID (here, here, here, and here) but I figured that, as our conditions continue to degrade around the country, it would be useful to bring this back as a regularly recurring topic of discussion.

Food Price / Shortages: prices up slightly – 2-3% fm last week / no observed shortages
Fuel Prices / Shortages: prices stable fm last week / no observed shortage
Unusual Military Movement: normal helicopter training flights from New Century, KS
Civil Unrest / Crime: Normal – 2-4 murders per week in KCMO
Interesting Local News / Events: KCMO Mayor announced plans to ramp up his sanctuary city efforts for KCMO by bringing in “migrants” to fill jobs. Heavy pushback from both Jackson County and State of Missouri. Cutting state funding to KCMO if they proceed.
Public Service Interruptions: none observed

Any additional observations or comments: Illegal population still growing. Expanding to suburbs.
General Location: Upper New England
Food Price / Shortages: Elevated/None
Fuel Prices / Shortages: Elevated. Avg $3.55 Gal Reg/ None
Unusual Military Movement:
Most common activity remains US and allied airlift overflights. The tempo is down in after spiking last week. I did notice during the spike that military aircraft were using closed facilities, (former USNAS Brunswick Maine) and smaller regional airports like Worcester Mass.
Civil Unrest / Crime:
The ongoing Gaza protests by the militant Left are picking up steam and spreading. MIT. Tufts, Emerson and Harvard are currently the most active.
Interesting Local News / Events:
Maine has passed a nasty slate of anti gun laws at the end of the legislative session. Bump stock bans, a 72 hour waiting period, and a draconian red flag that calls for people to be involuntarily committed to a 24 hr mental analysis on the mere accusation of an associate or LEO without any probable cause or known crime having been committed. This red flag law replaces the state Yellow flag law that failed because the USAR locked someone up for being dangerous at Annual Training and the released them when AT was over. The local sheriff was also disinclined to follow up as the law required.

I find it interesting on my android galaxy S22 now americanpartisan.org is blocked and sited as hate speech. I also can’t get banned.video. YET on my computer I still can go to these sites.
