Coronavirus: Scenes from a NE Grocery Store

This was as of 8:30pm on 3/13/2020. I stopped in after a church charity event. I ran into a clerk I know there and he said it was crazy all day. Absolute insanity. No police were needed but verbal fights were common. Panic was in everyone’s eyes.

My soundtrack? This is dedicated to all of my Fallout 3 brothers and sisters.

    Holy crap Batman!

Some great pic’s Patriotman, thanks for posting.

These pic’s do not represent the southern tier of New York or northern tier of Pennsylvania. As I reported earlier to you today, the only thing stores are out of here is TP, antibiotic hand soaps and sanitizing solutions. Shoppers were pleasant. There was a bit of excitement in the air not unlike a pending blizzard. Gas is dropping at the pumps here faster than a wedding night grooms slacks.

    Thanks Brother

Very different in my New England town. Market wasn’t as depleted. Plenty of fresh fruit, produce and meat. Deli was full so stocked up on deli meat and sliced cheese for the kids. Their spring break vacation got moved from April to next week while the school decides what to do. Schools are closed next week

Canned goods and frozen food were pretty depleted as was dried food like rice and beans and flour but it wasn’t out. I scored 20 pounds each of flour and rice to add to my store. Got SPAM and Peanut butter and a bunch of good meat and fresh veggies and fruit. Toilet paper was being sold by the single roll. Limit was set to two per customer.

People were pretty chill…no issues that I saw.

I know, right? The stuff is gold on a good day. Although the platinum standard is Wolf Brand.
