Faction
Karl Dahl sent us a heads up that his book, Faction, is on sale on Amazon for $13.50 paperback and 5.56 for the kindle version.
Good reading for the times.

I’ve read it and really enjoyed it. My only criticism would be of the unnecessary drug references. The author knows his guns and apparently is a big fan of the Skorpion Machine Pistol. I’m hoping for a prequel re: the grandfather’s exploits killing communists as a Nationalist during the Spanish Civil war.

Hi Jeb,
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Prequel is in the works, and will be more of a pure novel vs. the “infotainment” that Faction was.
The drug stuff turns off a lot of conservatives (see my favorite one star review on Amazon from a WRSA reader, which is framed and displayed proudly on my wall – he’s morally correct!), but was directed squarely at the more libertarian-minded who are tolerant of drugs, or casual but otherwise fairly reasonable users who think they’ll be able to [do whatever] when the time comes w/o understanding the cloud they are putting themselves under. Just say no, kids.
Further, I wanted to point out that drug trafficking is absolutely a tool of statecraft, and is massively corrupting.
Thanks NC Scout for posting this!
