Need Food Storage? Wise Is Back Online
If you’re like many, you’ve found that all of the freeze dried food companies have been either swamped to capacity or outright shut down incoming orders for the foreseeable future. With the threat of fresh food shortages being a very real thing and the uncertainty of what might follow this, like ammo, you’ll never have enough stored food.
Everything they have listed on their page is in stock and ready to ship. Learn from the past five months. Don’t be the guy scrambling at the last minute wondering where the next meal might be coming from for your family. Check out what they have, get what you can.
These might very well be the good ol’ days.

Does anyone knoiw if they fixed the lack of calories problem they had a couple of years ago? (supposedly the calories didn’t equal; stated amounts on labels). I swore off Wise because of it and stuck with MREs and Mountain House. Hopefully they did, and improved the flavor of their stuff.
I think that was part of their re-labeling.
All well and good but you need to have a good source / stock of water to goo with it. Living on the Eastern seaboard I always have water stored and ways of storing more in an impending emergency.
So, you’re not storing water also?
I have never purchased any products from Wise Foods. Over time, however, I have seen forums where the quality of its products were reviewed by readers.. (Of course, i always wonder just how many phony comments are written in these forums by those with an agenda– whether pro or con products.) I have never seen anyone praise Wise Foods, however. At best, some of its products gets an “okay” rating, which is to say, damning by faint praise.
I urge readers to search online in order to determine for themselves whether to make a purchase from Wise Foods.
Don’t want it, that’s fine, don’t buy it.
But also don’t come over here trashing something you have no personal experience with. Wise is on par with Mountain House. Its calories. Don’t expect either of them to be a five star affair.
Wise has had an intersting history of quality control. Some friensd and I purchased a bunch of Wise buckets around 6-9 years ago. We randomly opened four of twenty buckets and found three had broken/cracked mylar bags with spilled contents. After calling the company and online seller, we opened all of them. Twelve had the same issue. We speed them back and were refunded.
Fast forward to now: I have several storage items from many freeze dry compamies…including some more recently purchased Wise items. The newer stuff seems fine and tastes ok. And no issues have been notes.
Some other good options are Patriot Pantry, Mountain House, Future Essentials, and more.
Be sure to test a sampling of anything you get. Both for quality control and taste.
