This is an awesome video. If you haven’t checked it out, you should!
Sam does a great job of illuminating potential areas of concern that you may not have thought of or prepared for. Well Done!
bytheway. Doing the “i’m not a robot” captcha exersize just to navigate between articles in AP, got really, really old. Like instantly. If this isn’t your guys doing, please reach out and slap who is responsible. If it’s your doing, please reconsider.
It was necessary because a DDOS attack kept bringing the site offline. It should be gone within the next 24 hours. We know it is annoying, but it was the only way to keep the site operational while we worked on a fix.

Great video both for information and for organization: a rank newb (such as myself) could just watch the video and hit ‘Pause’ while they filled out the requisite information and/or made a note that something needed to be collected to fill a gap.
It wouldn’t make us analysts overnight, but we’d be a mile ahead of where we started in a very short time. Five stars.
Videos can’t be printed out and referred to later when needed. A video watched once will be largely forgotten two weeks later. Why do you waste time with this?
Simple solution- Take notes.
Here’s his book that might help: Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield

Rollary, why do we waste time(would argue that point as not a waste )but to know ones local area and residents is the best way to plan for natural or man made disasters.I find my self in three areas due to work/home/helping a family member. In all three have tried and believe connected with locals and thus if things go very wrong feel I have folks can work with and have cached all these places to help us all.
I also feel by learning more about the land of these places have a good idea for shelter/water and at least short term food if the homes themselves must be abandoned.
I am working on getting family member better help(tough with obstinate family member) and then can concentrate on more the home front but feel having plans for all areas at least a good start, and yes, know plans can change/ go wrong ect. but at least I am trying.
I learned this might be good thinking as a kid who rode out the blizzard of 78 in New England. In itself not a big deal but opened up a young kids eyes to how quickly life can change as far as food/comfort/shelter ect.
how many times do i need to prove i am not a robot?
I have to do it every time I’m on too.
Okay, the DDOS thing bought much forgiveness. I’m a technodinosaur so wouldn’t have thought of that. I stand corrected.
