Regarding Holosun red dot, I put one on my ahotgun. It had a perfect circle before I shot the shotgun. Thwn one shot, spikes aroung a once perfect circle. I considered it garbage, but I still have it. It just makes me weary of Holosun dots mounts.
You put it on a shotgun.
Aimpoint, Eotech, Trijicon, Vortex, Leupold, Nightforce, Nikon….
The list goes on and on…
I bought 4 Spark 2’s for $500. Is it a great optic? yeah, it kinda is. Battery life not so great.

Love the podcast series Scout- keep up the great work. I laughed at the TPB shout out- I got turned on to that show almost 20 yrs ago. Nothing quite like it- bummed that John Dunsworth passed a few years back.
Took delivery of my PSA AK-P about a month ago. I don’t have nearly as many rounds thru it as you, but can confirm your reviews are spot on. This thing is rock solid, highly accurate, and priced fair. Every one of my buddies that has shot it says the same thing- “I gotta have one!” Glad I took your advice when they were still available.
You know it took NC Scout saying this website like 50 times for me to make the effort to come here for his article because I am so busy and I have many podcasts that I like to follow and it really gets hard to keep up with them. This is really good what you have here and I like how its an hour long. But just seeing this, I wonder why aren’t there more people here commenting? Are they afraid? are they just distracted by video games like some of my friends are? And I kind of feel like some of this info is too good and should be behind some kind of paywall or private. There are retards that do not deserve access here.
If thats the state we are in where there are so few people paying attention … my stomach is wrenching.
Thanks for the incredibly kind words.
There will NEVER be a paywall here. We’re self supported through our advertisers, and the goal of this is absolutely not profit. It’s knowledge, it’s building the base, it’s getting people engaged.
I see…….. said “the flea”. You are good, you’re reeeal good! That was pretty slick.
Carry on there :O)
The 5 dollar bucket of AK mags was cool.
Until you actually tried to use them.
Those were the leftover out of spec ones everyone ditched during the Clinton days
Scout, Do you have a friend with a real estate liscense?
They have access to who owns what in your neighborhood.
Guess who owns most of the buildings in DC that are leased by the Government?
Hint, It ain’t Americans…
The fastest area study you can accomplish is a fat, brand new(and old) yellow pages and real estate map.
Was very nice to hear you mention Bone Steel, I run this on my Serbian AK and have been very pleased with using it. Be advised, took two months to get one. Also AK manipulation wise during operation of that platform, do you prefer a left or right fold? If so why? +1 to the Norwegian Black Metal, Varg and Lenny. Cheers from the Old Home State.
Thanks brother!! Hail to Varg and long live Lemmy!
I prefer a right hand folder because when I put the gun across my chest at the low ready, how we most often carried carbines overseas, a right hand fold keeps the stock out of the way but in turn is quick to deploy and get on the shoulder.
Did I hear a Meshuggah clip on the podcast at some point or was it my imagination?
:) Good ear.
