NC Scout is the nom de guerre of a former Infantry Scout and Sergeant in one of the Army’s best Reconnaissance Units. He has combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He teaches a series of courses focusing on small unit skills rarely if ever taught anywhere else in the prepping and survival field, including his RTO Course which focuses on small unit communications. Terrific interview! I’m in awe of NC Scout’s unique insights on 5th G warfare, his wide knowledge of today’s armed leftist revolutionary groups, as well as historical parallels.

Good stuff. Also, I was under the impression that 5th Generation warfare is when you use an internal conflict and collusion and collision to overwrite the government, without having to assume the government responsibilities until they collapse and then you win because you already have street credibility plus the hearts and minds. . Similar to the situation in Mexico or Columbia where the cartels have more capital than the government, and take better care of the Local National Citizens than the failing and collapsing corrupted government.

Is this close? The Church has succeeded in using this tactic many times in history. Being nicer and more prepared than the tyrannical government, while opening their arms to the abandoned masses and providing a sense of community. Which in turn creates a “polis” or city of politics, and thus a new “State” is essentially formed within a state.

Israel is a prime example of this working VERY well. The methods don’t matter, only the end goal…

I could use a source for 5 Generation Warfare if I am way of base. I understand that 5th generation warfare is so new it hasn’t been defined yet by any military institutions.

  It’s both correct and incorrect. At some point infrastructure for an area has to either be assumed and resumed or the force looking to gain power will be replaced.
  
  Boko Haram are the perfect example of using this tactic and it backfiring due to their inability to provide for their populace. It could also be argued that at that point the conflict has slid back to 4GW, and this also wouldn’t be wrong.
  
  The podcast I’m doing over the weekend is going to discuss this along with a few other related topics.

    Doing a DF class soon, and testing equipment with some buddies. Signal Sniper and EMF ninja stuff.
    A “Fox and Rabbit” Mission? I think that’s right. I’m new and learning what to do.
    Rifles, Compasses, and Maps are my favorite game to play. But this radio stuff is really, really cool. It’s so deep and complex. It’s WAY more interesting than guns.
    It’s supposed to rain too, so we are gonna test our waterproofing. Might lose a radio or two… We’ll see. Already lost a DM-1701… Whomp whomp. I have more. No big deal.
    Ever had the blitzed out screen on the DM-1701? What a bummer dude…

I think that picture of the broken egg is to a different unsafe space podcast. The one for the NC Scout interview has black lettering on a white background with a multicolored block in the left hand corner. Two different podcasts by two different hosts with the same podcast name.

The interview was very good. I’d say enjoyable, but the subject matter is to serious for that. I appreciate your service to this country, and your passing on knowledge and skills to the rest of us.

I was very interested in your observation of Americans who came back from the Syria/Kurdish/ISIS conflict and how that has changed the nature of the unrest we see in the streets.

I believe, no matter what happens with the election the unrest will continue, as the marxist/anarchists have a taste for it now and think they are winning. When the inevitable crackdowns occur, the media will bleat, see, we told you Trump was a fascist, or conversely, see, Harris is the statist we thought she’d be but concealed because ORANGE MAN BAD.

Great Interview!…Too bad the right doesn’t have the will too organize to counter the threat…The Militias are full of guys that have too much to loose in life, and most productive Americans aren’t willing to risk their livelihood… It’s my belief that when large groups of people are personally and financially affected by the malcontents, that things will get very shitty very quickly..Police will be ineffective if an entire block of neighbours in the suburbs didnt see anything. I grew up in a neighbourhood that implemented the block watch program. Had the police not responded to our needs when we needed them, im sure we would have been able to handle things on own own.

The disembodied rainbow/acid graphic fluctuating with the sound of your voice is sooo sixties Star Trek… and distractingly creepy. Seems more appropriate to our enemies. I know you had nothing to do with that but your esteemed host should be informed.

Great interview nonetheless. Thanks for the depth and detail, lacking in the majority of other such efforts. Nothing like the voice of real world experience, and the dedication and talent to express it.
