Poland: A glimmer of hope

Polish nationalists and far-right individuals have clashed with police as thousands defied a coronavirus pandemic-related ban to join a self-styled “independence march” through the capital, Warsaw…

But participants, many of whom did not wear masks, waved Polish flags and chanted, “God, honour and homeland!”

This year’s demonstration was organised under the motto “Our Civilisation, Our Rules” and its advertising poster showed a knight breaking a red-and-rainbow-coloured star, an apparent reference to communism and the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQ) community.

The march came on the heels of massive protests in the past few weeks about abortion rights, where hundreds of thousands of people took to the street to protest against the pro-government Constitutional Tribunal’s efforts to ban abortions, even in cases of fetal defects.

Poland: Far-right ‘hooligans’ clash with police at Warsaw march

The Polish are making me reconsider every joke I have ever told about them. Today is their Independence Day, and they celebrated in a way that made me smile in a world that is increasingly bleak for my people. What I wouldn’t give to see men here shouting ‘Our Civilization, Our Rules!’ and ‘God, Honor, and Homeland!’ instead of washing feet and screaming like a mascara-festooned girl on live TV (paging Ms. Sheperd Smith). The tribal nature of media will undoubtedly require sufficient condemnation of the activities and a lot of pearl-clutching among the Europeans, but ultimately it doesn’t matter. The Polish understand more than most the connection between the various forms of cultural degeneracy and communism. Increasingly there is becoming a larger and larger contrast to how the average person is living in Europe and America as opposed to Poland. Our entire society in the US and most of Europe now revolves around apologizing for past wrongs, perceived wrongs, imagined wrongs and ultimately a lot of patently false accusations. I for one see people at work every day who are lost, praying that in their own country a wrong word or look or factual observation doesn’t send their world spinning out of control. How many of us are now used to the stress of being two people, unable to express ourselves or relate to anyone in a meaningful way professionally or personally to avoid being unable to feed your family…because you love your people, your country and your God? Madness. It was not always so, and will not always be so. There are small examples of people who have said no, and today was one of them. This is a war and I refuse to be defined and limited by the failures of other people and previous generations. Our very existence is an act of defiance, so smile and drive on.

    @ Jesse James:

While vast swaths of the developed world known colloquially as the West, including the U.S.and much of Europe, now lie under the oppressive yoke of cultural marxism and communism, there are signs of hope. The Visegrad Four nations are perhaps one of the brightest of those lights. Poland is a member, alongside Hungary, Slovakia and Czechia (The Czech Republic). These four nations and their leaders have pledged an alliance based around their shared values as Christians and members of traditional European civilization. They are also united in resisting the Saracen (Islamic) invasion and the globalist mandates of an increasingly tyrannical European Union in Brussels.

Although different each in their own ways, all of the nations of the Visegrad Four are united by the fact that all have suffered a great deal under the boot of the Muslims, fascists and communists at various times in their respective histories. They know full-well what stands to be lost if the West ceases to exist.

Hungarian President Viktor Orban has emerged as a sort of spokesman for the group, but there are other leaders alongside him in each of the four nations of the alliance.

Who has allowed and encouraged he Muslim invasion into Europe and Scandinavian? Look to the words of Barbara Specter Lerner who stated it loud and proud and you will have your answer. In addition, 1200 rabbis signed a petition a few years ago to increase third world refugee immigration into USA when we can’t even take care of our own homeless.

        @ Marguerite

There is no one factor explanation for the Islamic invasion of the West. Blaming it “on the Jews” or the like is a cop-out. There are plenty of Christians and people of other faiths whose minds have been poisoned by cultural marxism. The Jews and Judaism should not be beyond criticism, but reflexively blaming them for every calamity, ironically makes you sound little different from the Muslims themselves. Bear in mind also that there are plenty of Jews who oppose communism and cultural Marxism, and who are on the side of the West in his great struggle.

My point is easily proven if we do a brief thought experiment. Imagine for a moment that there were no Jews here in the West,or for that matter in Israel. Do you really believe that the Muslims would then lay down their arms and cease waging jihad against the non-Muslim world? No – they would not. The jihadists have a saying, you see, which goes: “First we take care of Saturday, then we take care of Sunday,” the former being the sabbath for Jews, and the latter the Christian day of worship. Over their long 1,400 year war against the non-Muslim world, it is probable that more Christians have been slain than Jews. For that matter, more Buddhists and Hindus. The Muslim slaughter of Hindus in southern Asia 500 years ago is still the largest mass killing in all of human history, with an estimated fifty million falling before the scimitar.

Your point about the rabbis signing a document asking for more immigration is true, I am sure. The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society is an influential non-profit, and they’ve been in business for years. Ditto, though, for the World Council of Churches, and also Catholic Charities, which are Christian organizations in the same racket – harvesting cash for themselves by the number of immigrants they “resettle,” i.e., place in communities in the U.S.or elsewhere in the West. These organizations are globalist in nature, as they answer the bidding of the richest and most-powerful people on earth – the billionaire oligarchs. Yeah, some of them are Jewish, so what? Plenty of them aren’t. Besides, what they really worship isn’t God anyway, it is power and money and themselves.

If there is blame to be attached to the Islamic invasion of the West (including the U.S.), it ought to attach to Muslims themselves, who refuse to let non-Muslims live in peace. The Koran, Hadiths and Sira – the trinity of Islam, so to speak, all call for the believers to wage eternal jihad against the infidels and the kafirs. The non-Muslim is offered only the following choices – conversion to Islam by saying the shahada; submission, slavery and payment of the jizya tax; or death. Or a non-Muslim can choose to fight to defend himself. Mohammed once said that waging jihad was second in importance in Islam only to practicing the faith itself.

No man should have the right to tell another man how to worship – or even whether to worship at all. That is a private matter for the individual. Muslims do not allow this. Their religious (sharia) law, it is said, applies not only to all Muslims, but to non-Muslims as well. This fact compels Muslims to wage eternal war against all non-believers until they convert or until such time as the whole world falls within the House of Islam (Dar al-Islam).

I try to keep an open mind in regards to everyone, but I have known and worked with a number of Jews over the years, some of them from the former USSR. Nearly all of them have been atheists, with very liberal political leanings. I have found them to be most intolerant of Christians and conservatives. I have not had much experience with Muslims, but with Jews I can see the definite link between atheism and communism.

How do you define “Jew,” Mark? If it’s a religious distinction (like “Muslim”), then “atheist Jew” is an oxymoron. If it’s genetic, then you’re condemning “nearly all” of an entire race.based on a few scumbags you’ve met. Doesn’t sound very open-minded.

Thank-you, Georgiaboy. All the irrational Jew hate out there is tiresome. Glad to know at least one other person is calling it out.

While I appreciate a good Polish joke as much as anyone, the Poles helped stop the Ottoman Empire/fought like hell as best they could WW2/mobilized against the Soviet Union with the shipyard workers and all,and now this, bless the Polish folks and their fellow countries, perhaps do the same in US with states combining, hmmmm……

That said, still think it takes 3 Poles to change a lightbulb!

Besides regarding the survival of their culture & values important, the Poles left us with another valuable lesson. This lesson was taught to millions, watched from some hundreds of miles away by the Polish Holy Cross Brigade, but learned at the tragic expense of the core Home Army(AK) in Warsaw once the Nazis had been kicked fleeing west and the new Soviet “friends & liberators” showed up in the neighborhood.

LL: “The enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend. He, too, may want me dead or disappeared into the camps.”
Don’t forget that kids. Be careful who you lie down with.

Personally, having a dear friend whose Dad was an officer in the Holy Cross Brigade and having the chance to proof my friend’s translation of their history into English, I’m really glad to see Poles acting like Poles.
    Salud!
