01-03 trucks are the best investment right now. Still easy enough to work on in the garage with the right know how and not too expensive. I’d like to get my hands on a 03 Chevy 2500 4×4.

Smaller AWD SUVs are pretty handy too. Laugh if you like Older Honda CRVs are great vehicles when you put a good suspension and tires on, especially if you have a gunners seat…I mean a sunroof.

Can’t believe you’re getting such pushback re the cell phone issue considering your experience. Thanks for enlightening those of us who will listen!

Also again appreciate your music recommendations and discussions. I have similar eclectic tastes. Downloaded Hillbilly Joker and love it.

      Thanks man!

Well…people want to get whatever bullshit they bought justified and get mouthy when it violates their so-called knowledge base.

I’m running the newer Cobra 29 LX on a Firestik in my 06 Silverado HD. Everyone laughs at me when they learn I have a C.B. in my truck, but that radio has saved me hours of sitting in stopped traffic on I26 in the NC, I95 in Florida, etc. There isn’t much rag chewing in NE Florida, but trips into GA, SC, NC TN and AL I have heard more communication. I view it as another communication tool. The newer Cobra 29 has NOAA weather channel and scan features that I like. I heard Mr. Bracken discussing C.B. radio this afternoon on Alex Jones Show. The more options we have to communicate, the better. I have been monitoring C.B. for any CH3/AmRRON activity but haven’t heard any.

NC can you give some opinion on ferrites on your HH radio? if using a redirect kit to antennae? whip antennae mounted on rear of PC, using redirect cable, the radio in front pouch. etc.. does having a ferritte have any benefit?

Awesome episode, Scout! Love all the useful information. Listened to it while pacing back and forth, which is what I do when I am intently listening to something. I love this addition to AP.
