Thanks for that,a good watch and took me mind off of daily concerns for a bit.
They really have a attitude/training program that surprises me with so many nationalities/religions/political views ect. and yet can make em one family.I was thinking a shame the world couldn’t do that but then realized would be a one world govt. ect.,may be the world could do something in between that benefited all but kept ones own identity.Eh,one can hope but history seems to think otherwise.
Anyhow, watched while sharpening some broad heads and weighing them in to same grains, worked out well, worth a watch you have the time.
This is a decent documentary. I’ve watched it numerous times. I actually had the opportunity to fly into and land at the Legion Airfield on a logistics run when the Legion still had control of Camp Lemonnier, prior to Operation Restore Hope, when the 13-Demi Brigade was still in residence. Good times. The Legion has a unique culture. If you’re interested in the Foreign Legion, there is another documentary, its in black and white, that is a little older than this one entitled French Foreign Legion. It can be found on youtube with some searching.
