How To Pillar Bed A Rifle (40 Minute Video)
I have never personally bedded a rifle action, but I have done cabinet grade carpentry. Which is very near the same level of detail and competence. If you have ever put up drywall, durock, or sheet rock and it looked professional afterwards; you have the patience for something like this.
Several of my friends have bedded family heirloom rifles from the 70’s and 80’s. A time when American manufacturing was less than perfect. These weapons are as accurate as any modern precision gun I have fired.
While you have your weapon opened up. Consider give her a good cleaning and a polish.
Maybe some new springs?
