I have a pair of the IIIs, which hold up to IV ratings per 3rd party tests online, and are thinner and lighter. This isn’t to take away from the IVs, but just to tell folks looking at the weight difference (2.4 lbs for a pair of plates, slimmer on the body) that they are great. I trail run wearing my PC as a “weight vest,” total rig slicked is ~11 lbs and change, feels good man.
