    Fasten safety belt tightly children.
And try to keep you hands and feet inside the ride at all times.
Physical possession of precious metals may not be as “archaic” as the Quants and Edumacated Gurus of “Modern Monetary Theory” insist it is.
Time to revisit/review all previous assumptions (past time?)
It really is fast becoming a Brave New World out there… and many haven’t purchased their NODs yet.

      ROFLMAO….I need some Soma dammit!!!

when people say nods are expensive i say “cancel your cable”dudes will have a f950 jacked up w 800$ month payments and ten ARs but no nods, makes no sense.

      average cable bill over a year will get u a gen2+ pvs14

i think one issue is people cant try them out.on average nod game is all mail order not like local gun shop where u can pick stuff up. so to many its not tangible until they try one

did a night shoot, a buddy looked through a gen 3 WP and was like yup done getting one!

mail and supply chain issues should be a motivator for people to score nods asap.

the explosion of social media reviews etc there is a run on night operating gear. also covid/riot shit from past two years people are gearing up and saying fuckit better to have it and not need it…

@SOG ….No cable, no TV but I have different sob story that I won’t bore you with. You are correct about the “mail order” thing I suspect. Anyone know a store that sells these devices? Or a place that might take a barter? You ever see them at pawn shops? Maybe you guys could build them (video posted other night)? I wonder if they keep them at armories? That was the thing that pissed me off the most about what our govt left the Taliban, the Goddamn NOD’s. They looked pretty sweet and I had planned to have procured already. But one must wait for better times.

NC’s write up today was great but overwhelming to a guy like me. Not trying to sound like a pussy but that was in depth shit that makes me feel the inadequacy of my labors. That’s on me.

Thanks SOG bought a Russian POS last year on ebay. Lol pieces came apart when I put the batteries in there. Lucky got my money back. Still have the one saved that NC reviewed a couple months ago. I look back now and realize I should have done it. Same thing with getting another dog dammit. Been putting it off waiting for the right time, thought I would be traveling a lot. I guess sometimes you just gotta do it.

Failures weigh ounces but regrets weigh tons.

They can doctor that CPI all they want. The bloom is coming off the ruse especially if they pass the BBB bill. 2022 is going to be an exciting year one way or another. If you guys know that you are going to need something soon I would not delay buying it too much longer.

Convert your “excess” Feral Reserve Dollars into something Real Solid that You have in your possession. Food, Silver, Gold, Lead, Propane, Hand Tools, Medicine, 1st Aid, Soap/Antiseptic Cleaners, so many simple things… then more food.
    Just my approach.

    • NC Scout December 16, 2021 at 19:55

Well said. My approach also. There’s going to come a day when a ‘new’ currency replaces the one we’re using now.

GenEarly has given the best advice in a most concise way. Enjoying the podcast NC Scout. Appreciate all the book recommendations and was wondering if there was a master list so to speak. I’m hoping I can make a training class someday soon.

there is a book you may find in PDF called the alpha strategy. the premise is to buy now at todays prices in bulk to stave off the invisible hand of inflation. book is older but the idea is sound.

Bought my Pvs14 Willy p from a recommendation on this site. Very satisfied! What a game changer! If we would have had this back in the day!

The issue with nods is that unless you were in the military or have a buddy who has them, you simply have no way to know what they do, how to use them etc… . They are expensive, so it’s kind of a Leap of Faith.

That is starting to change with high quality YouTube videos and things like the TNVC Try Before you Buy classes. As with everything else, classes will actually save you money in the long run. You learn what you really need and what the options are.
