This is it, Boys.
Ukraine Vs Russia
My wife woke me up the morning Russia crossed the borders into Ukraine. I lifted my head, wiped the drool off my face and said: “cool”, and rested my head on my pillow for ‘just 2 minutes’. Once I indeed did wake up, I suddenly remembered that I’m an intelligence professional and a near peer war just broke out. I quickly went on Twitter and searched “Ukraine”. I saw that this was not fake news, but certainly not the real news either. Clipped propaganda pieces quickly overtook the full videos of combat. Most were what I would consider ‘pro-Ukraine’. Early on, I sensed this strange undertone that everyone thought this would be over in a week or two. This war is controlled to some degree and will continue and escalate as needed to be a proper scapegoat for the foretold shortages and economic woes.
How this escalates is unpredictable, though a man can have an opinion. I do not expect nation to rise against nation. I fully expect nations to rise against themselves. Americans will be fighting overseas. They won’t be deployed to fight, they simply will be stuck. Expect a not-so foreign army to suddenly but ferociously attack power plants, fuel depots, police stations, and take over post offices.
Appalachiastan
Here at home, there seems to be trend. More stores are carrying green clothing. Not slime green, not yellow green, but olive and dare I say, Ranger green. Veterans are going jogging in their old PTs. Every trip to the firing range is delayed by waiting for folks to fill out membership forms. The propaganda and demoralization campaign is becoming so overwhelming that some people are throwing out their televisions. I’d rather see what 00-buck does to a flat screen….for science. It would seem people are becoming more aware of their surroundings and conveniently Army green clothing is growing into a social norm.
Call me paranoid but when I look around, I see dads with their kids and you can see the worry in their eyes. Between looming food shortages, cyber attacks, inflation, and all the other buzzwords designed to scare you, it’s an uncertain time. I’m not sure what will happen, but I fear not, for I know He is with me. I am not dismayed, for He is my God. After you finish this piece, go read The Book of Isaiah.
If you see a roadblock ahead, do you continue driving straight at it, or would you slow down, and see if there is a better path? If you are a man of sensibility and action, the latter. Some have yet to discover that we are being herded into a life of bug and plant based food, rolling power outages, travel restrictions due to low oil consumption laws, and other nonsensical ‘Green party’ ideas. But it’s cool, man. Pot will be legal so everyone will just get stoned and love one another. I smell reefer all throughout Baltimore City and I see everything but “love”. I see depravity and degeneracy, I see murder and ruin.
War is boring, war is drawn out, war is full of uncertainty, war is terrifying. Battles are fast, bloody, exciting, and often incorrectly used as a synonym of ‘war’. What you are experiencing this very moment is War. Historians will give it a name for the textbooks, but it does not change the definition. This is it boys, THIS IS WAR!

Yes, summarized quite well. You could say the smell of Napalm is in the air, except this time it’s starting to smell like fear.
I don’t know what 00 buck does to a TV, but I do know what 44 mag and 5.56 does to an old laptop. LOL
