My Common Cellular Communications and Electrical Solutions: By J.P.

Security Warning- Bluetooth can be used to access your device’s data and compromise your location and privacy.

Major corporations install bluetooth readers in their stores.

The devices communicate. Betraying you and your data.

Keeping your blue tooth on your phone turned “OFF” is a good idea when not in use.

However this can, at the same time, save you $50-100 on a purchase.

Your bluetooth data is mined to map your purchasing and travel habits.

Ever wonder why you receive Walmart, Grocery, and Best Buy emails after a trip to these stores?

How did they know you were looking at Car Products, Frozen Foods, and TV’s?

The answer is Bluetooth…

On to the bulk of the article…

Communications and Power needs can be a considerable investment.

Pictured is nearly $300 work of kit. Plus a Lighter, Electrical Tape, and 16-Gigabit USB Drive. (JIC)

However, you may already have all of this available to you.

You simply need to consolidate these items into a tight, neat package.

Like many of you, I have half a dozen devices I keep with me on the daily ranging from Cell Phones, Bluetooths, Smartwatches, Mini-Computer, and various other tools and toys.

Pictured below is two battery packs, about $20 each, that have a Micro-USB and USB-A ports.

I can charge one pack, using the Micro-USB, while using the USB-A to charge a device.

(Comparable Device Linked Here)

The devices are secured in duplex tandem using electrical and duct tape. The three dashes on the top left are LED charge level indications. Pushing the white button with the “Power” symbol I (Pictured Bottom-Left) initiates power to the USB-A port and also allows the user to check the charge level as indicated on the three power bars.

Pushing the white power button twice in rapid succession turns on the LED light.

The power cables need no introduction, but the 12 Volt Car Plug charger requires some discussion. I have a combination of Micro-USB & USB-A, for both charging the batteries and other devices, like my headset pictured below.

I can charge one battery while charging a device from the other using the 12-Volt Charger. The Micro-USB and USB-A option allows me to charge devices and the batteries AT THE SAME TIME. I can top off the batteries on the way to work. Or save myself should I find a device without power.

One should take caution to store these batteries out of direct sunlight, and not leave them on the charger.

The 12 Volt plug, in my car, allows charging for about 5-10 minutes after the car has been turned off. The power is cut to the 12-Volt Plug automatically.

My headsets are a combination of an earbud type WI-C400 Sony Headset, Pictured Below. (Linked Here)

Sorry to those I recommended these items to previously.

The price has changed from $42 to $26.

You can thank bluetooth and messages data mining for that.

The corporations knew you needed a headset…

When earbuds are used in conjunction with a set of earmuffs, I can hear my phone ring at work while operating tools and heavy equipment. While providing a hearing safe solution to communications. I can also listen to music without the need to have the volume level on MAX. Potentially damaging my ears.

Below is an “Aftershokz” boom mic headset. (Linked Here) Used for the Radio Contra Son’s of Liberty Podcast, Green Dragon Academy, and work calls. This set, though a bit pricey, works exceptionally well. It uses bone conduction. Which allows me to use ear plugs when working in the direct sunlight on a hot day. Instead of wearing hot ear muffs.

Good stuff, however, dump the bluetooth…it’s a massive attack surface and not worth the trade off of just running a wired device instead. Convenience kills…

You are not kidding about bluetooth mining. Was in Walmart a while back. I walked through the electronics section and noticed those reproduction, mini-upright video games. I stopped there and looked at them for a bit. When I got home, there was a advertisement specifically for those games on my phone. Talk about targeted…

Just another reason to avoid smartphones.
There’s nothing wrong with a flip phone. Even better if it’s in a faraday bag.
I rarely carry a phone unless travelling and it’s in the bag for emergancy use.

All you’re doing with a flip phone is limiting the utility you have access to.

Better yet dump ALL of this garbage in the trash where it belongs. ALL phones are a unnecessary nuisance.

I work for a living and could not perform my job without a cell.
