I’m always astounded by the ignorance of the mainstream press when it comes to military equipment and gear. I suppose it’s because none of those leftist idiots have ever served in uniform (or even considered doing so). That’s why everything looks like a “military grade machinegun” to them — they have no clue what they’re seeing or discussing. That’s NOT a tank! From the front (which is all that’s showing in the picture), it appears to be an M113 armored personnel carrier.

I noticed something similar with the report on Germany’s armor on Zerohedge a few days back. Though I’ve never have and never can serve, the difference between a tank and APC is very obvious; one sentence calls it a tank and the next calls it an infantry fighting vehicle. Which is it?

I was expecting to see a Challenger what I saw was an infantry fighting vehicle.

APC, not a tank. But interesting, none the less.

I’m glad to live in the land of the (ahem) free; had they tried that in Amerika they most likely would have been executed on the spot

Is that rubber blocks in the treads to keep from damaging the asphalt? I know you can get similar things for tracked tractors.
