So my takeaway is the advantages of NVIS being harder to signal locate is compromised now by WATCHDOG.
How much advantage does SDR offer for very low power voice comms – say that Q900 grade or better unit ? Obviously digital modes are the way to go but for folks that may not be able to get up to speed before.you know what gets more real. Now that Watchdog is branded in my neurons.

Cutting wire per a numerical equation, might be a racist thing in today’s Army.
Under 1W get’s you within 1km (about 1-1/7 sq-mi.) Off-the-Shelf equipment, but not rapidly deployable. Airborne detection units are another problem. Addressing this in part in my upcoming book.
