Social Security benefits to be cut starting in 2035 without congressional action: Trustees
Social Security will have to begin to reduce benefits in 2035 when the trust fund is estimated to be “depleted,” which is one year later than previously forecast, according to the latest Social Security Board of Trustees’ annual report.
Martin O’Malley, commissioner of Social Security and former Maryland governor, called on Congress to fix the program so it can pay full benefits “into the foreseeable future.”

I think the projected date is too optimistic even without considering other factors. Whatever the case, the language about “congressional action” is suggestive that the plan is to bail out the ponzie scheme with something, and that something is likely to be individual tax sheltered retirement savings being seized for the “greater good”.
Always love an optimist. There is no way the current Ponzi lasts until 2035. Expecting any action by politicians who have promoted this mess since the 1930’s is the height of either stupidity or insanity, I will leave it to the reader to decide.
No funds for Social Security, no funds to stop the invasion of our border, no funds to increase the electrical grid, no funds to repair the terrible roads, no funds to repair the old water systems. However, there is unlimited funds for Israel, Ukraine, school districts, and war. Who is $ John Galt?
