Kamala wants to use government power to reduce your red meat consumption
Kamala likes cheeseburgers, but she wants to use the power of the federal government to reduce how much red meat you eat.
As Grand Canyon Times reports, she said so during a CNN town hall meeting while running for president in 2019:
Would you support changing the dietary guidelines, the food pyramid, to reduce red meat specifically?” CNN’s Erin Burnett asked.
“Yes, I would,” Harris answered.
Harris’ presidential campaign didn’t last long after that, as she dropped out before a single vote was cast in the Democrat primary.
Her comments about reducing red meat consumption came right after she told Burnett:
To be very honest with you, I love cheeseburgers from time to time, I just do.
