The Empire Strikes Back Part 4, by Scipio

Part Three

“A society of emasculated liars is easy to control.”

Theodore Dalrymple

I would rather not write about what I am going to write.  Even worse, I wish I didn’t believe it myself. George Orwell said, “At a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”

I grew up in a country where feeling safe was natural, it was not a state of consciousness. I grew up in a country where opportunity abounded, even for the so-called “marginalized.” I grew up threatened by the KKK for my civil rights activities never knowing those same civil rights I fought for others would be taken away from me. I grew up in a country where “Nazis”, “Communists”, “Civil War”, “World War III”, “Nuclear War”, and “Assassinations” were subjects of study, not eminent current American realities.

I understand now what General Douglas MacArthur meant when he addressed a joint House of Congress after being fired by President Truman for wanting to win a war, not make it a “forever war”.  (American soldiers are still in Korea seventy-five years later BTW). No US general since has stood up to the war machine after seeing a five-star general canned for doing what he was trained and swore an oath to do, win wars.

The country I grew up in is gone, never to return.  I do not recognize my country nor many of my fellow citizens.  I feel like a stranger in my home country.  I don’t have a Fatherland or a Motherland, I live in a land that has lost its way.

I also understand completely what General Douglas MacArthur meant when he said before a joint session in Congress on April 19, 1951, “The world has turned over many times since I took the oath on the plain at West Point, and the hopes and dreams have long since vanished…”

I am living in General Mac’s prediction he made when addressing the cadets at West Point May 12, 1962 he said, the idea of “duty, honor, and country” (will be) the object of mockery and ridicule” someday.  Those hallowed values of “duty, honor, and country” have been replaced with “money, position, and power”.  I was a young boy when MacArther spoke those words at West Point, and, sadly, I have lived to see his words come true.

From the time Patrick Henry said, “Give me liberty or give me death” until the time General Douglas MacArther said, “In war, there is no substitute for victory”, America, during that time period, came pretty close to achieving the ideas and ideals held in the US Constitution and the Western Civilization based moral character of the nation.  America has abandoned those values, and because of it, the country is falling apart, rapidly.

Although he was writing about international events, Sameul P. Huntington’s thesis in, “The Clash of Civilizations: The Remaking of World Order” can accurately be applied to contemporary America. Huntington said future wars will be fought over culture and religious identities. That is exactly what has been going on for decades in the US; widespread vicious assaults on Western Civilization, the rule of Constitutionally based law and Christianity have been rampant and sustained.  Every American institution has been turned on its head and instead of perpetuating the culture that formed it, has turned against it. Huntington called those points of tension, “fault lines”.  We are on the precipice of those fault lines today.

America is now a nation of lies, perhaps an the empire of lies.  Edward Snowden said, “When exposing a crime is treated as committing a crime, we are being ruled by criminals.” As of this writing, charges against Snowden for exposing military misconduct have not been dropped.

An example of the cloud of evil that has spread over America,  Josh Stylman said Covid was nothing more than a period of mass persecution. “Every major element of the official Covid narrative has been proven false: The origins of the virus, the validity of PCR tests, the suppression of early treatments, the denial of natural immunity, the so-called “safety and effectiveness” of vaccines, and the utility of masks, lockdowns, and vaccine passports. Yet those who questioned any part of it faced unprecedented ostracism and persecution.”

Covid was an engineered panic and an economic coup where big businesses were allowed to stay open and small business were shut down while their lost revenues went the bottom line of big business, stripping millions of dollars and livelihoods from the working class.

During the Covid years and since, so called Constitutional guarantees were run over roughshod by national and local governments. The majority of Americans suspended common sense, gave up their liberties, and did nothing to push back out of fear. Fear. The powers behind the curtain see that fear, and when predators sense fear they are embolden for blood.  In this case, we are talking about our blood.

Currently we are in a lull before the storm.  We are in our own form of “phony war” period like 1939 Europe leading up to WW II.  Today’s forces of evil are marshalling their counter attack, the empire will strike back.  They have been wounded, not defeated.  The real battle lies ahead.

So, where is all this leading?  There are multiple possible outcomes, they are all kinetic, and none of them appear good.  This will not be a “bloodless” revolution.  I would love to see a restoration of American traditional values and make America great again, but sadly it’s probably not going to happen.  Maybe we can make America “better” but “great” is beyond probable I believe.  From the sell-out of American tax payers for the banker’s folly in 2008, to the Marxists’ long march through academia, to politicians being bribed by way of sudden accumulation of wealth after retiring from “public service”, from Catholic and Protestant churches being racked by scandal and heresy, from sports being driven by money rather than the love of the game, from the collapse of the American family,  from social media dominating human interactions, from drug deaths killing more Americans than all of America’s wars combined (and there have been many wars), from the societal absence of common manners, politeness, and decency, from the creation of a whole dependent class of  human parasites, America’s institution’s structures has been undermined, weakened and teeters on collapse.

Humpty Dumpty has fallen off the wall and how great has the fall been.  Knowing how fragile he was, one has to ask why Humpty (America) was up on that high wall (deficit spending and mandated social change) anyway, and the potential danger of a fall?  Regardless, Humpty is shattered and cannot be glued back together. Some parts are shattered beyond restoration. Sadly, America may have created its own “lost generation” or two.

Understanding the alarming condition of America’s vital signs, one must ask, what are the possible near future scenarios for a complacent, willfully ignorant, corrupt, wounded and rudderless America?

I see five possibilities:

  1. America may descend into dystopian lawlessness where pockets of stability and safety exists.
  2. America may fragment into geographic oblasts as various secession movements succeed in garnering critical mass.
  3. America may simmer until finally exploding into full-fledged civil war coalescing into Symbionese alliances.
  4. Financial collapse will either follow or precipitate one or more of the previous three possibilities.
  5. Any combination of the first four could be happening simultaneously or progressively.

I will discuss in detail how I see the five possibilities presented above play out in my future fifth and final installment of “The Empire Strikes Back” By Scipio.
